Under the guidance of our Covid Taskforce we have updated our covid policy at Congregation Bet Shalom to allow masks to be worn optionally, and they will always be welcome. With Pima County now being in the low risk zone each person can decide what feels most comfortable for them while at shul. Mussar | Facilitated by Dr. Yoram Kinberg
12:45 p.m. Mussar is a Jewish spiritual practice that involves self-examination through the exploration of various character traits (middot) such as humility, gratitude, kindness, anger, patience, and forgiveness. We each deal with these traits in different ways, and therefore we each have a unique spiritual curriculum. The goal of Mussar practice is to make us a better mensch, more attuned to ourselves, but just as importantly, to others. Our “textbook” for the class will be Everyday Holiness --The Jewish Path of Mussar by Alan Morinis. The practice is simple, yet challenging. This class meets regularly on Zoom.

Fridays Beginner Alef Bet Hebrew 1:00 p.m. This class meets with Morah Rita on Zoom, and is for those who want to start at the very beginning. Please get the book "Teach Yourself to Read Hebrew" by Simon and Anderson. Please email the office to contact Morah Rita directly if you'd like to join the class.
