Mussar is a Jewish spiritual practice that involves self-examination through the exploration of various character traits (middot) such as humility, gratitude, kindness, anger, patience, and forgiveness.  We each deal with these traits in different ways, and therefore we each have a unique spiritual curriculum.  The goal of Mussar practice is to make us a better mensch, more attuned to ourselves, but just as importantly, to others.   Our “textbook” for the class will be Everyday Holiness --The Jewish Path of Mussar by Alan Morinis.  This time of Corona is a particularly potent time to explore Mussar together to support resiliency through the many unknowns. The daily practice is simple, yet challenging.

The class is facilitated by Dr. Yoram Kinberg. Feel free to reach out to Yoram ( 917 558 1146) if you have any questions.

Today's class focuses on the midda of TRUST.  Whom can we trust during corona time will be our special focus in this difficult time. Please click HERE for assignments, dates and more info. If you have any questions, please call Yoram at 917-558-1146.

Join David Wien at a gathering of positivity and inspiration to help
us get through the next few months. The concept of Chesed
appears in the Torah more than 190 times, leading many Jewish
thinkers to hold the value of loving-kindness up as Judaism’s
primary ethical virtue. Let’s connect and strengthen each other.
Let’s develop patience and share wisdom to help us get through
this difficult time together. We’ll challenge ourselves to create a better World through Tikun Olam.
