We talked about the Israel Symposium that will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at the Olson Center for Jewish Life (NW Tucson), from 9-3. There will be a real-time Zoom presentation from Hadassah Hospital at Ein Kerem (Jerusalem), made by the director of that hospital, Dr. Yoram Weiss. He will talk about some innovations and advancements in medicine that Hadassah is doing.  There will be other components to the symposium, plus continental breakfast and lunch. The cost is $50. Diane shared the news that for the first time, an Ethiopian woman will represent Israel at the Eurovision international song contest this year.

Our group might like to do a challenge- have members search out a new Israeli product sold in Tucson and report back at an upcoming meeting.

Perhaps we can take 3-4 PIN articles and print up sheets about them to go on the Shalom Tucson Cart.

If we have a great pro-Israel news story, we could write a letter to the editor about it for the Arizona Daily Star.

Yosef talked about JAC (Jewish Arizonans on Campus). He told about grads and undergrads at the U of A and ASU who meet together often for programs, Shabbat dinners, etc.
